Old windmill of Dudutki
Old windmill is the symbol of Dudutki. The uniqueness of the mill is that it’s still working. The mill was built in 1905. In 1994 the mill was transported in Dudutki from the south of Belarus. It worked in Berezovka village of Homel oblast for 70 years and was closed in 1975. Nearby the mill visitor can see the small house. In the beginning of the 20th century this house was used by farmers and peasants. In the house they waited for their turn to start grinding grains. Today the mill works not to make flour but to make fun. Visitors of Dudutki can go up a ladder of mill to the very top and to see the sights of Dudutki area. The mill has several stops on the stairway where the visitors should drink local samogon. So climbing up may be the real adventure.
